The Technical Operations Center utilizes the latest most versatile equipment. Much of the programming originates outside the main studios of GAB therefore the equipment racks in the GAB TOC are full of Comrex, ISDN and POTS equipment as well as Tielines, Telos Extream’s and Exports’s. The studio’s use EV RE20 & 27 microphones exclusively. Numerous audio leveling devices are used throughout the plant. GAB uses several Gentner 612 telephone systems as well as Telos. Eventide delay systems are used for live program protection. All programs are computer controlled using BSI Simian software and raid backup systems on all computers. Audio consoles are a combination of Mackie, Alesis, and Wheatstone. The entire Technical Operations Center is protected by UPS and emergency generators.

GAB has numerous remote packages for use here in the US and special packages for Europe, Asia and third world countries.
